NALGAP is a membership organization founded in and dedicated to the prevention and treatment of alcoholism, substance abuse, and other addictions in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer communities. Similarly, the LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education gives post-secondary education professionals a discounted rate to its annual conference, where people can learn about current issues in higher education affecting the LGBT community.
The Committee reports on a regular basis to the NASW Board of Directors on matters of policy and shall coordinate with the Program Committee on activities related to the program.
