We Cook, Share Knowledge and Develop Friendships
Message from WWRC founder Sue Zelickson
Women Who Really Cook is a networking organization for women in the food business in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota.
Monthly meetings are held in various locations where members work to share successes, ideas, dreams, desires, products and possibilities in the food world.
Our mission is to meet others with similar interests, concerns, and joys... to take time to laugh, smile, taste, and relish each others' specialties, while sharing our wants and needs with each other.
We dish up a bit of chit chat while making meaningful, supportive, and long-lasting friendships!
Women Who Really Cook turned 20 years old
So we had a party!
We celebrated 20 years of this great organization in the place where it all began — Sue Zelickson’s lake home. From a small gathering Sue organized there in 1993, Women Who Really Cook has grown into a premier networking organization of nearly 300 women in the food business in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota. Members from both decades of WWRC, including early and former members, joined together for beverages, appetizers and birthday cake. Many shared stories about the early days and how WWRC has impacted their careers and lives.
